Angel Episodes season 5

5.01 Conviction

Taking over the Los Angeles offices of the supernatural law firm Wolfram & Hart proves to be more challenging than expected for Angel (David Boreanaz) and the gang, especially when their first case involves representing an evil client (guest star Rod Rowland) who threatens to destroy the city. As the gang settles into their new careers at the law firm, they meet new and familiar faces, including the mysterious Eve (guest star Sarah Thompson), who will act as Angel's liaison to Wolfram & Hart's senior partners, and the bubbly vampire Harmony (guest star Mercedes McNab) who is Angel's new assistant. Most surprising of all is the arrival of Angel's old nemesis and fellow vampire-with-a-soul, Spike (James Marsters), who makes a miraculous appearance.

5,02 Just Rewards

IT'S A DEAD MAN'S PARTY - Spike mysteriously materializes in Angel's office through the magic of an amulet, but no one, including Spike himself, understands the reason he has returned or why he is now a ghost. Meanwhile, Angel jeopardizes his own life when he tries to stop one of his evil clients (guest star Victor Raider-Wexler) from using human bodies as vessels for demon spirits.

5.03 Unleashed

 
Angel helps a newly turned Werewolf named Nina, who is being hunted by an exclusive club which specialises in exotic meals. A member of the club is working undercover for Wolfram & Hart under the alias, Dr. Royce. He captures Nina after promising her to the other members, but Angel and the Gang arrive to rescue her. The club are disappointed that they have no meal, so Nina bites Dr. Royce, turning him. 

5.04 Hellbound

Spike is being tormented by the spirit of a brutal, wiccan surgeon named Pavayne. Since his magic helps him stay out of hell, he wanders around Wolfram & Hart cleaning up the loose spirits. With growing concern for Spike, Fred tries frantically to find a way to make him corporeal and prevent him from being sent to hell. While Spike battles it out with Pavayne, Fred arrives with her new contraption. As she is attacked by Pavayne, Spike is faced with a choice. He can save Fred, or he can use her machine to become corporeal.  

5.05 Life of the Party

A big Halloween bash is planned at Wolfram & Hart to lighten things up and let everyone know that the new regime is here to stay. Lorne hasn't slept for a month in order to prepare and plan for the party and work with his clients. Therefore, this loss of sleep clashes with his empathic power, causing his funny remarks and quirks to actually become reality. This causes mayhem to ensue upon Angel and his crew. There is a final showdown with Angel against the Hulk-like Lorne alter-ego, who has manifested itself from Lorne's bad decision to undergo a no-snooze operation.

5.06 The Cautionary tale of Numero Cinco

Angel discovers the only remaining member of six ancient evil fighters working in Wolfram & Hart, while researching an aztec warrior named Tezcatcatl. We are shown this man's life through a series of flashbacks which tell the tale of 'The Luchadors', a family of Mexican wrestlers which helped the helpless until one day they were slain by Tezcatcatl. In the present day, Angel tries to help the last member discover the hero inside which he lost when his family were killed. 

5.07 lineage

Cyborg assassins attack the offices of Wolfram and Hart for a magical device that will give them control of Angel. Wesley is surprised by the arrival of his estranged father, who has come to evaluate Wesley for possible reacceptance to the Watcher's Council.

5.08 Destiny 

For centuries they fought over women. "You're not going to win this time!" Now, for the first time see how Drusilla started it all. "If you want her, come and take her." But when another mysterious package arrives at Wolfram & Hart that recorporealizes Spike, the gang learns that the existence of two living ensouled vampire heroes has created chaos in the world. After Eve tells them about a prophecy that states that the only way to restore order is to find the Cup of Perpetual Torment that bestows human life, Angel and Spike battle it out for the ultimate prize. A series of flashbacks show the history of Angel and Spike and their relationship with Drusilla (guest star Juliet Landau).

5.09 Harm's Way

We experiece a day in the life of Harmony, including her colleagues, her daily routine and her problems with the occupation of being not only a secretary, but a vampire too. Meanwhile, Angel and Gunn attempt to keep the peace between two demon tribes, before they decide to slaughter each other

5.10 Soul Purpose 

 
In David Boreanaz's Directorial Debuet, a mysterious stranger (guest star Christian Kane) approaches Spike claiming responsibility for recorporealizing him in a mission to guide Spike in supplanting Angel as the new vampire champion. Meanwhile, Angel is racked by intense fever dreams and hallucinations of his worst fears intensifying his worries that he will lose authority to Spike.

5.11 Damage

When an emotionally unstable woman, Dana (guest star Navi Rawat, "House of Sand and Fog"), escapes from a psychiatric ward, Angel (David Boreanaz) learns that she was tortured as a child and is now searching for her tormentor. Andrew (guest star Tom Lenk, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), a watcher-in-training, arrives from Sunnydale with surprising information about Buffy and to inform the group that Dana is also a vampire slayer. Meanwhile, Spike (James Marsters) believes that if he can save Dana, he will prove that he is destined to be the vampire champion.
Alexis Denisof, J. August Richards, Amy Acker, Andy Hallett and Mercedes McNab also star. Jefferson Kibbee directed the episode written by Steven S. DeKnight & Drew Goddard.
